We did. So we waited for the right RV. We wanted to be able to haul our four wheelers and play in style. So we purchased a Highlander by Highland Ridge last April. We have taken our RV up to Coeur d’ Alene mountains and to the sand dunes of Florence Oregon.

Setting up camp is a breeze with the quick handy levelers. The pop out the three slides, extend the awning and set up camp. It’s seriously that easy. The interior is so spacious-we had three adults on the Oregon trip and it was large enough. Ours also has a large refrigerator and holds all our camping necessities (and cold bubbly ones also). All we had to do is take off the rails on the front and ride off the 4wheelers and go play. It can also be used for a tent or an extra patio area. I look forward to going camping every time. We are still outfitting the camper with the right dishes and stuff but we go as often as we can. Our sweet dog Saydee loves to go with us as well.
So far we decided that the Teddi Flats area about 38 miles up the river is a good spot for setting up camp. We can have a campfire, use the generator if we need to, and relax! We usually go riding up the North Fork of the CDA River on our Yamaha 700, 550 and 350 ATV’s. So we make up a lunch, take some drinks to pack on the 4 wheeler and we are good to go for a day of riding. The most fun we have had seriously has been hauling the trailer to the Oregon Coast and riding the dunes in Florence. The Highlander tows well and make your “home” a fun place to have.
